Good Government

Criss is determined to advocate equal justice in Apache County Government. He believes that an elected officials’ authority comes not only from the people who elected him but also to the oath he takes to uphold the Constitution and laws of the Unites States and the State of Arizona. Both establish the legitimacy of the office. He will not for selfish reasons shrink from his sworn duty. He will not look the other way from any person who has committed crimes. He does not believe that anyone is above the law.

Criss has helped elected officials to keep open struggling schools, make sound investments of public monies, insure maximum voter participation in county elections, prepare agreements that make school bus roads better, acquire grants and other funding to relieve the burden on county taxpayers and provide more protection.
