Criss’s family has lived for six generations in Apache County. He is the son of Criss and Irene Candelaria of Springerville. He is the eldest of 5 children. He is married over twenty years to Tracy. They have three children: Kimberly, Ian, and Marissa. He has one granddaughter, Katee. His son, Ian, is a United States Marine. Marissa is a high school junior. The family has owned ranches in both Springerville and Concho since the 1890’s. His great grandmother was the second pioneer child born in Round Valley.
